Visa Application Processing Fees Fees are payable in cash in local currency and are subject to periodic review. Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Refunds: A fee will be refundable only if the application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics have not been taken, or if the applicant refuses to provide biometrics. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas visas are granted for less than the period applied for. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 6 April 2010. The consular rate of exchange is Ksh125 to £1. By cash at any of the Barclays Bank branches listed below - before submitting your visa application, 2. In cash - at the visa application centre. Important note: • Please use your passport number as your own personal reference. • We do not accept payment by electronic transfer, or by any method other than in cash. You will also need to complete individual pay-slips for each application. You will not need to pay surcharges if your payment is made at one of the above branches of Barclays bank. You will need to wait 24 hours after paying the visa application fee before submitting a visa application at the visa application centre. • The acknowledgement of the visa fee payment will be valid for 30 working days from the date of payment and you must ensure to attend the visa application centre to submit your visa application within this period. • If payment is made at the visa application centre, a surcharge of Ksh 500.00 is applicable. A visa application can be submitted immediately after payment is made.
