- Who are we?
VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership
with the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission
in Kenya providing services to help people apply for a visa
to enter the United Kingdom (UK). UK Border Agency in Kenya
processes visa applications submitted in Tanzania, Uganda,
Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- How can we help you?
You will find information on this website, supplied by the
UK Border Agency, about how to apply for a visa to enter
the UK, if you need one. From this website you can also
find information on the VFS free email service and telephone
information service (calls charged at local call rates)
which will provide the same information that is given on
this website.
VFS also manages the visa application centre for the UK
Border Agency in Kenya, where you should submit your application,
your biometric data and pay the visa application fee. The
address details of the visa application centre can be found
in the 'Contact Us' section
of this website.
Information about the UK's immigration rules and policies
can be found on UK
Border Agency website.
- Where can I get advice?
VFS Global and its staff cannot give you advice on how to
complete your visa application, or what type of visa you
should apply for. If you need help with your visa application
or advice about the UK's immigration rules and requirements,
you should seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser.
In the UK immigration advisers regulated by the Office of
the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC - www.oisc.gov.uk).
You can also obtain advice from legally qualified professionals
regulated by designated professional bodies. A list of legally
qualified professionals who can advise on immigration matters
can be downloaded from the following websites:
Law
Society of England and Wales

of Legal Executives
Please note: The Law Societies of England, Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Institute of Legal
Executives cannot provide direct help or advice on
visa applications. They can only provide a list of law firms
who can advise on immigration matters.
- Who decides if I will get a visa?
Your visa application will be processed and decided
by UK Border Agency visa staff. VFS staff do not play any
part in or influence the outcome of your visa application.
If any member of our staff claims to be able to influence
your application, you should inform the UK Border Agency
at the British High Commission as soon as possible.
